Born in Yorkshire in May 1924.
Father and grandfather.
DIY enthusiast, Folk dancer/sound man.
Working for Ministry of Agriculture during the war years and later for the Ministry of Works at Scampton.
Married to Betty and settled in Louth.
Travelled and demonstrated with the Lincoln folk dance group, including visits to Germany for twinning exchanges. Jointly leading folk dance nights and weekly classes.
Maurice enjoyed motorhome trips for dancing and family holidays.
