Iain helped me so much being just Iain. I was worried about studying Chemistry to get into Vet school. I was Iain's cleaner and was always treated so well by Iain. He told me about his children and also how he'd met the love of his life and how he felt so lucky to have found her. He told me that I must have holidays away from life to ensure that things don't get too stressful. Iain was one of those souls that stays with you. I remember him always seeing the bright side of life and telling me I can do it. He helped me with my mental health so much and inspired me to never settle for less and go for the things I wanted. We would laugh about Iain's cat Claudette and what a serial killer she was. I met Tanya some time later and realised straight away that they were a match made in heaven. One day, whilst I was seeing to my horse in his field, Iain and Tanya stopped their car to say Hi! I was at vet school by this point. Tanya was doing well and Iain said "Now it's my turn, I've been given 5 years to live", with a huge smile on his face. I will never understand why the amazing souls we have on earth are taken way before their time. Iain will always remain in my heart as one of the rare ones with that twinkle in his eye, having met "the one" in Tanya and having everything he'd always wanted. I think Tanya gave him his best life to the very end. XXXXX
