I have only just learnt of maggsy’s passing. I knew him at Odiham and Benson and we shared a room in the barracks block in Aldergrove. I spent a weekend with him at the pub where we got in trouble for firing the shotgun in the car park. A great character and a true friend.

In loving memory of (Maggsy) Neil Maggs who sadly passed away on 28th July 2019 in his sleep.
Anyone who knew Dad loved him. He was the most kind hearted man you could ever meet.
Raised in Peasemore, Dad left home for the RAF aged just 17. He was proud to serve his country for 17 years, leaving to bring us back to England and our family. For the last 21 years Dad has worked for TAG Aviation as a Ground Handler. What he didn't know about aircraft wasn't worth knowing!
He was a dedicated Dad and Grandad, adored by his 2 children and 3 grandchildren and leaves a huge hole that will never be filled.
Crossword puzzles will remain incomplete, models remain unfinished but our memories are clear and wonderful and will stay with us forever. Dad, you are the very hardest goodbye. Xx
