Gena Chapman (28 Nov 1961 - 7 Jul 2019)

In loving memory of Gena Chapman who sadly passed away on the 7th July 2019 on the day of Gregg and Gena's 12th wedding anniversary.

Gena's funeral will take place at Norton Big Wood on the Wednesday 7th August at 1.30pm - 3pm.

If you would like to come along to the Funeral and Celebration, then please click on ATTEND so that we may keep track of numbers. Gena was definitely a socialite so we may be expecting large numbers of people.

It is NOT at Hill Holt Wood itself, this is where the main office is.
Travelling from Lincoln towards Newark on the A46:
Take the first sign posted Norton Disney on the Left. It is a mile or so along the road.

Travelling from Newark towards Lincoln. Take the third sign posted for Norton Disney. It will be a right turn across the dual carriageway.

Please note the funeral is outside in a large natural woodland so please bring suitable footware for uneven ground. You may also choose to wear appropriate clothing for inclement weather and bring an umbrella. The burial site is around a 1o minute walk into the woods. Follow the signs that say Long Leys Path.

Please do not wear black. This is a celebration of Gena's life, so let's be colourful. Gena's favourite colours are blue and purple.

We are requesting donations in lieu of flowers, however if you would like to bring flowers, the Big Wood does not allow plastics or synthetics.

Followed by a Celebration of Gena's life at Carlton Le Moorland Village Hall.

Gena was passionate about cats and she especially took a liking and following to Maya the Black Panther who was adopted by the Big Cat Sanctuary in Kent.
