Suddenly at home surrounded by all his loving family on May 11th aged 63 yrs Barry beloved husband of Maureen much loved dad of Michelle, Susan, Lee and Emily Rose also step dad of Darren and Sharon, dear father in law of Carole, Wayne, Geoff, Stan and Craig cherished grandad of Naomi, Chervonne, Brandon, Chelsea, Shannon, Jordan'Lee, Carly, James Barry and great grandad of Reuben and Desi-Rae,brother of Colin, Kevin and Christine brother in law of Micky, Norman, Stevie, Rodney, Darren, Carole, Marie and the late Jimmy and Chris best friend of Ronnie (second wife) also sadly missed by his pet dog Bouncer. Family and friends please meet for service in Sunderland Crematorium on Friday May 24th at 11.00 am. Family flowers only donations in lieu to Great Ormond Street Hospital a collection plate will be provided at the crematorium.All enquiries to Manor House Funeral Services St Lukes House, 14 Martin Terrace, Pallion - Tel (0191) 565 1067.

4 year today I had do hardest thing I've done in my life that was say my last good bye 2 my DAD. You weren't just my dad but my super hero. You saw me take my first breath I sat with you told you everything was going be OK while watching tears roll dwn my face & yours while you took your last breath a moment il cherish till we meet again. One thing you did teach me in life is RESPECT & i thankyou for that. What I do hear your voice one last time, deep down I now you be so proud of what I've achieved in my life now & that's thanks you telling me grab life 2 hands I DID & do dam happy now. Just wish you got meet the man in my life Christian Smith who made that happen & cherish all 3 my kids 2. Just like you did. I LOVE you with all my heart DAD miss you so much till we meet again love daughter sue xx

4 years have gone by since my heart was shattered into a thousand pieces as heaven decided to pick you to be one there angels, I wasn't ready for you to go just yet it has been the most painful 4 year of my life not being able to just see you or hear your voice or going on little car journeys together and coming to you for advice when ever things got tough for me. I feel so lost without you hear you weren't only just my grandad but u was like a dad to me and always treated me like one of your own. My life hasn't been all that good since you passed and I've to face some hardships but I got through them as I had you looking down on me you will forever be my gaurdian angel😇. I speak about you all the time to Reuben and desi and tell them that you're the brightest star in the sky and how you will always hold a special place in their heart just like you do mine💙. I wish I could just sit and talk to you one last time and give you a cuddle as when ever I felt sad you always put a smile back on my face. I will forever treasure every memory we have together and make sure your memory lives on. Rest easy up there until we get to meet again someday I love and miss you always 🕊️🕊️💙💙💙💙
