Jan as I'll always think of her, now surrounded by the dogs that love her at the Bridge What a celebration. But for those for whom she always had a good word and good advice on the Picture Paps list, a terrible loss. Hugs and love to John

I'm stunned! Had no idea. Jan was a foundation member of Papfriends from way back and always so kind. I always pictured her, John and her dogs in a lovely English garden across the pond. She was always so positive and never a cross word to anyone. My condolences to her family.

So sorry to hear of Jan’s passing. She was loved over here “across the pond”. I knew Jan from PapFriends. I will miss her stories of Ross and Dinky, the poodles and whippets. My sincerest condolences to her husband John and the rest of her family and friends. RIP Jan <3

We are shocked at this terrible loss. We knew Jan, or "Jan (UK)" as she wrote on PapFriends, for the past 10+ years. Her wonderful sense of hum0r and sage advice regarding our Papillons will be missed terribly. Her stories about John, her son and his his family, as well as her beloved dogs were always fun to read on Facebook and on the PapFriend's webpages.
Our hearts and prayers go out to the family. She will be missed by all who knew her.

I am so sorry for your loss, John and all her friends and family. I always looked forward to her Papillon stories, of Russ and Dinky. Her tender care for them. She will finally join all her furry babies at Rainbow Bridge.

Kirstie Blackwall donated £30 in memory of Jan

I was so sad to receive John's letter today. I first met Jan and John in about 1995 when they started looking after my toy poodle Mollie. Holidays for Mollie were so special and I was so lucky to find Jan and John! Even after Mollie went blind, she could still navigate their house and garden. We moved down south about 10 years ago, but Jan remained in touch on Facebook, with cards for the children and never missed our wedding anniversary. I will miss her and remember her with much love, Kirstie x.
