We met Norman only once as we went on holiday through the Midlands and the Lincolnshire about twenty years ago, but we remenber very well this meeting.

Norman was a very elegant man, we vould say a fair gentleman,so refined and distinguished.

Already tired with illness, and in spite of it, he very kindly put in his garden round his sweet home several small french flags to make easy our final approach, when our car was not equiped with GPS aid.

We had a very pleasant time and meal with him and his daugther, our so dear Elizabeth (Ruth) and discovered douments and souvenirs of the time when he was the mayor of Boston.

He gave us the way to fall in love with this town .
We share the sorrow of all those who knew him, and especially his daughter.

Mike Dudley donated £10 in memory of Norman

An intelligent and knowledgeable man, with strong family and social values, he cared for all putting them first over himself, even in his death. A big loss to us all.
