MERVYN LANGMEAD
Passed away unexpectedly at the North Devon District Hospital, surrounded by his family, on Thursday 7th March 2019, aged 71. Much loved husband to Gill, devoted dad to Clare & Colin and Simon & Amy, a special grandad to Sam & Char, Erica & Jamie, Ellie & Ryan, Arthur, Gracie & Stanley, great grandad to Jimmy, Cian & Freddie and a loved brother and uncle. Funeral service will be held at St Mary’s Church, Bideford on Wednesday 20th March at 2.00pm followed by a private cremation. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, for Dr Buckland’s Children’s Holiday Foundation by retiring collection or c/o Braddicks & Sherborne Funeral Directors, No 1 Abbotsham Road, Bideford, EX39 3AF (01237) 477222.

But had he befriended those really in need?

Not what did the sketch in the newspaper say,
But how many were sorry when he passed away.

  • Merve was an amazing husband father and grandad he put 150% into everything he did. The tributes written say so much about the special man he was. Heartfelt condolences to Gill and all the family. Know he will forever be with you in your hearts

How may it be possible !! OH , Mervyn , we're both so sad , of course it's a so great hole for Bideford and Landivisiau too . We can't forget the wonderfull hours shared with Gill , that's why we 're same as father less now . But we do guess next twinning week ends , you 'll have a look on us .
