I met Lisette within days of her arrival to Halifax. We smiled and laughed together from day 1. I told her that if she stayed for six months she would end up making Halifax Yorkshire her home, and indeed she did. She brought so much joy to everyone and her concern was always based on making people happy, a very generous person.
I shall miss the laughs and the teasing and her warmth. Lisette sending you love and a virtual hug, may you rest in peace. You will never be forgotten.
I also send my thoughts and love to Lisette's family at their great loss of such a very special person

Lisette lived every experience to its absolute fullest, and never missed the opportunity for a selfie. Perhaps one day we will meet again to continue your Yorkshire Girl training :) I will miss you more than anything. My best friend.

Lisette was a much loved neighbour. She brought sparkle to our street through her presence, and quite literally at Christmas and Halloween with her outdoor decorations. We will miss her very much and send all of our love and thoughts to her family.

Lisette was our lovely friend. She helped us when we first opened our shop at the Piece Hall by giving out drinks & talking to customers. She was a wonderful lady who brought fun and joy with her wherever she went. Our children Ethan & Eva adored her. Lisette even bought Ethan a caterpillar choc cake for his birthday. They made her little presents and when Lisettë found out Ethan was going to be the boss Elf in the Xmas play, she gave him tips & even lent him a elf hat & stripey socks! These will forever be treasured. God bless you Lisettë. We only knew you a short time but our family will always remember you! Forever loved, forever missed x
