Sadly John crossed the bar on Monday 28th January 2019.

John was the Corporal movements NCO at RAF Luqa, Malta in the mid 70s. John had a high regard for the Royal Marines, so much so that he made Royal and families first in the queue whether it was indulgence flights or drafts all over the world. John was a regular participant at the Corporals club at St Andrews barracks where he made many friends. John leaves his wife Liz and daughters Andreanna and Colleen.

For those that remember John please join me in sending condolences to his family.

Rest in peace John, duty done.I

I've been refusing to write in this for to long now as I still don't believe you have gone.

I'm waiting for a phone call from nan to tell me your popping in for a wee cuppa to which you would sit back and enjoy watching your great - grandchildren with delight. I'm devastated your not going to watch them grow up but they both have an ever last memory off you which will stay fondly in my heart and be sang to them every day.

I miss you grandad and whilst these feeling are raw and heart breaking I know that in time we will be able to share happy tears, and everything will be just 'tickety-boo'.

Miss you so much
Your wee darling
Caitlin

Uncle Johnny, you will be sorely missed by all who knew you. You were one of a kind. Your passing has left another hole in our family. We will miss your banter and when we used to talk into the early hours everything you said was right even if it wasn't you would argue that it was.

Who will I pass my special 50p's onto now.

Missed so much by everyone who knew you.

Lots of love

Sharon, Thomas, T.J. & Alex xx
