In loving memory of Jean Holland who sadly passed away on 27th December 2018.
A beautiful kind, loving Mother & Grandmother (Nannie Humbug) who will be greatly missed but will forever remain in our hearts.
Her philosophy was ‘you’re never too old to try new things’, ‘be brave’, ‘embrace life’ & ‘strive to be happy’.
She loved skiing, swimming in the sea, shopping & spending quality time with her friends & family.
Jean worked for St Christopher’s for 25 years providing palliative care & was known for her compassionate bedside manner. This charity remained very close to her heart.
I’m so pleased to have known such a wonderful person as Jean. Her smile used to always warm my day and the sparkle in her eyes would be a welcome sight to see. I will miss knowing her kind nature and love is no longer here and feel blessed to have known such a soft, caring and wonderful woman. A big loss to the world!

I was so shocked and sad when I heard the news about your mum. I only met her a handful of times but she was always full of life and fun and seemed so vital and young at heart. I hoped you had many happy years together to look forward to.
She was always very friendly and warm towards me and I always really enjoyed chatting to her.
I know her death will leave a huge gap in your lives and she will be very sadly missed. I wish there was something any of us could do to take your pain away.
