  • Lovely photos Callum and that's how I remember Ricky. I've seen photos of him when he's older in his teens and I wish I seen him back then but back then I was unstable with my depression and just felt really lonely with everything and lack of family as I got older. I also have Autism diagnosed since age 2 so navigating that in teen adult world was difficult. I just wish I hung out with him back then but had alot of anxiety too as been ages since I seen him when he was like in the photos or a bit after. Also wasn't on meds for it either. I understand why Ricky done it, I just wish he didn't. But he's not in anymore pain 🙁😪

I was hoping to find him, I'm sorry to learn that he isn't with us, I'm wondering if there is a head stone that I can visit.
Thank you
Callum

  • Hi Callum, thank you for your message. So sorry that you found out the news this way. Ricky has a plaque on a bench beside a lovely small pond in Binley Woods. His ashes are there along with his dad and grandparents on his dads side of the family. I am Ricky’s auntie Michelle. Thank you for thinking of Ricky and sorry for your loss too as an old friend of his. It’s always hard to hear such sad news about someone who has been in your life xx

  • I am his cousin Joy, from Satnam's side. I grew up playing with him when we were younger for years until I was about 12. His mum, my auntie was challenging and back then I didn't understand her illness. I remember Robert and they always went places together and he did everything for Ricky. My mum went to the funeral but I didn't because it was too much for me and also I can personally relate to that for my own reasons so would have felt triggered. His Birthday is coming up soon and will plan to go to the plaque there some point. I didn't know it was there

I’ve only just found out. I’m so sorry for your loss. I was one of Ricky’s carer prior to him being 17 years old. He was a funny lad, he will be missed.

I’m sorry for the family’s loss
