In loving memory of Mary Elisabeth Hughes who sadly passed away on 24th October 2018 after a short illness.
Born Mary Jenkins, she was the widow of Michael John Hughes. Mary was a mother to Mark and sadly all too briefly to Maria-Anne, mother-in-law to Grainne, sister to Anne, Helen and Josephine, and Aunt to Claire, Francesca, Chris, Hannah, Adam, Steve, Maurice, Jeanette and James, sister in law to Barry, Dave, David, Margaret and Tom - beloved by all
Mary lived most of her life in Benson Road, Coventry, though she spent her last few months in St Jude's nursing home, Coventry, where she made many friends.
Mary was a good friend to many who will also miss her
Mary loved birds and animals, always had a quick smile and positive outlook on life. She was highly independent, strongly self-reliant, and determined to live life as she wanted. Mary was very easygoing, but fiercely protective of those she loved.
May she rest in peace - she will be greatly missed by us all.
