passed away peacefully, age 91, surrounded by family on Monday October 22nd at the Willow Tree Nursing Home in Rugby.

From her birth in Rugby on May 20th 1927 until her death, Pat was seen as an universal Aunt, nourishing people with her love, kindness and sense of humour. She was married to her childhood sweetheart Ron for 50 years and with whom she will be reunited in death.

Until her 90th birthday she was fiercely independent and ran her own wool shop for over forty years. She was beloved by her many customers at Pats Wool for whom she always had a kind word, a cheeky comment or a piece of advice. She was seldom without a faithful West Highland Terrier companion by her side.

She is survived by her brother James, sister-in-law Sheila, niece Victoria (Phil), nephew Benedict (Jennifer) as well as many cousins and relations to whom she was very close.

Funeral services will be held at St. Andrew’s Parish Church, Rugby on Wednesday 14th of November at 12pm followed by a burial in Whinfield Cemetery.
