The meaning of my dear friends name sums her up beautifully.
A Celtic Goddess of fire and poetry.A Greek name from the island of Delos where Apollo and the Goddess Artemis were believed to have been born. The German meaning is pleasant and noble.
Delia was indeed a Goddess amongst us. Kind, thoughtful, supportive and generous.
I feel lucky to have known Delia because there are not many of her ilk left in this world.
