Of Ashby
Loving mum, sister and grandma passed away suddenly but peacefully at her home on 14th January 2015 aged 54 years. Christine’s funeral service will be held on Wednesday 4th February 9.00 am at Holy Trinity Church, Ashby de la Zouch followed by private cremation. Floral tributes or donations if desired for the British Heart Foundation and all enquiries to A. E. Grice Funeral Service 4 Derby Road Ashby Tel: 01530 412229.

Christine volunteered here at the CVS as a Volunteer Receptionist and latterly a Telephone Befriender. She was a real asset to our team and our services. A kind and gentle lady with a wonderful smile. She had a real gift for helping others and was truly compassionate. Through her telephone befriending she was a friendly voice and a listening ear to those who are lonely and isolated - her calls were always appreciated and she was always thanked for calling. She, and her laugh, will be missed greatly by us all.
