Anna, I couldn't watch the Eurovision Song Contest this year because I didn't have my Eurovision text-buddy around. And today I watched Nadal win the French Open but couldn't text you to say how much "Rat Boy's" pre-serve rituals were irritating me. Missing you lots and thinking of your family who must be missing you more x

I remember Anna from my visits to Maggie's Nottingham. She was a lovely warm, friendly and cheerful lady and made me cups of coffee to have with my sandwiches whilst I waited for my daughter who was having treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I was very sad to hear of her death. My thoughts are with her family.

I've known Anna ever since I started teaching ESOL at Nottingham College (or ncn as it was then!) in 2004 but I got to know her better when she worked at Bath St and for a time we shared a little office. I remember our chats about Wimbledon and our joy or disappointment on finding out whether we'd won any tickets in the ballot. I remember comparing notes on the (sometimes slow) progress of our house renovating after she moved to Newstead village. I remember her doing the sky dive, being a Gamesmaker and going on "15 to 1" amongst other things - she managed to pack a lot in! She never complained about what she was going through, she was always so positive, such an inspiration. Will miss her loads xx

We sat opposite each other at work and shared stories about family and life.Anna's wall had pictures of her family,Hayden and her swimming and' Take That'. After I retired,we went to Soup and Serenity at the Buddhist Centre, where Anna fell asleep and purred her way through the meditation. We shared time at Maggies, walked Gedling Country Park with Sookie, had many lunches, met in Broadway and The Contemporary, plus the stunning red hairpiece, shared 'Game of Thrones',listened to Anna's writings at Bromley House, put the world to right whilst Hayden tidied my garden.
Her blogs were poignant, scary, uplifting and funny.
Anna was always positive. She hated moaners. She loved Hayden, her family and her job and just got on with it,reaching out as far as possible. She will be sorely missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
Love in abundance to Hayden and Anna's family from Pam Rob and family xxxxxc

Anna, my first (and last) mentor during ESOL PGCE and wonderful colleague. It's hard coming to terms with the fact that we'll never hear her dry wit or wise words again - never mind the random asides!
Loved hearing the tributes at the funeral, a great life well lived.
Love you and miss you Anna and sending deepest sympathy to her parents and Haydyn.

I was so sad when I heard that we have lost Anna. She was such a fantastic teacher who clearly cared about the individual and who made a realdifference to my life. I’m thinking now of her family and hoping that they are finding the strength to cope with such heartbreak. I feel lucky to have been one of her students.
