So sad that such a special person was taken so soon. I feel a light has gone out, but I only see sunshine and colour when I think of Brian. A kind, gentle and thoughtful man who I am greatful to have know. Thank you Anne for meeting and sharing this special person with your friends. Kiera and I are richer for having known Brian xxx

Over the next few weeks, we wanted to give everyone that knew and loved Brian an opportunity to share a memory, story or photograph with us at this very difficult time, leading up to the funeral. Although it has been difficult to process, we want to celebrate Brian's life and honour his effervescent personality, and remember him in a way that he would have wanted. His laughter could fill a room and just one hug from him could make the darkest day seem sunny again. Let us all learn from him, and live life to the fullest, do the things we love, and love the things we do.
The service will be held at Sacred Heart church on Edge Hill, commencing at 9am.
The burial will take place at 11am at Merton and Sutton Joint Cemetery. Please be sure to check the location before as this is directly next door to the crematorium and easy to confuse.
The wake will commence directly after the burial at the Wimbledon Park Golf Club - Home Park Rd, Wimbledon, London SW19 7HR. - If you need a lift after the service to the burial or wake please let us know.
If you wish to send flowers, they must be with the funeral directors Alan Greenwood's in North Cheam by 4pm on Friday 31st. (-Potentially keep in mind that they will be kept over the weekend when choosing your flowers.)
Alternatively, if you would like to make a contribution in Brian's name to the British Heart Foundation, you can do so via this page.
Dress code: Traditional funeral attire, dark colours.
In loving memory of Brian Roland Helene who sadly passed away on 15th July 2018.

And then one gloomy February Sunday we got a surprise text message and guess who was in Paris. We decided to meet somewhere where we wouldn't MISS each other. Brian and Anne definitely made it a much better Sunday.

The first time I brought Inès to London, Brian and Anne popped by to see the little sausage. She's tripled in size now and obviously has the tall genes too.

Xmas party at Old Thorns 2012
Inès had just started walking. Brian tried to hold her, but she was having none of it.
