Eileen Taylor (10 May 1928 - 21 Jun 2018)

Thanks to Rev Dawn for a lovely service and for her reading of our eulogy which included her life story and our happy reminisces of a lovely aunt.

Thanks to funeral director Kim for her very caring , sympathetic and professional help and for ensuring that the day went to plan, according to Aunty Eileen`s wishes.

Many thanks to the people who made the effort to attend our dear Aunt`s funeral to pay their respects. Although it was a sad occasion, the presence of those who loved her dearly helped to create a beautiful and memorable atmosphere. A fitting tribute to a wonderful lady.

Eileen always saw the best in you, and it was hard to upset her.
Being in a similar age group we had similar tastes in comedy.
Whenever we met, I gave her the same greeting, taken from a light programme Sunday lunchtime comedy show ' Allo sexy it's intelligence 'ere' Followed by a peck on the cheek , It did not matter where we were, or, whoever was in earshot, she always smiled and giggled and was never offended .
That's how I will remember her.
