In loving memory of Gary Pepper who sadly passed away on 6th May 2018, aged 58 years.
Gary was my husband and best friend for 33 years. He worked for Lincolnshire Firebrigade for 34 years mainly on watches but also working for the Urban Search and Rescue Unit before he retired 6 years ago. He has made many friends over the years and enjoyed life to the full both before and after retirement. He loved helping as a Volunteer Lock keeper and also helping with yacht deliveries which took him to many destinations around the world. He enjoyed his road bike and was fit enough to be able to undertake a Castle to Coast to Castle cycle in aid of charity with his pals. Gary was a regular member of David Lloyd Gym where he made many friends and he also enjoyed going on long walks both locally around the village of Bransby but also across the UK with me trying to keep up with him more often than not. Both he and I enjoyed many holidays and good times with our friends which took us around the globe and provide precious memories. Gary loved life and lived it fully until his illness took hold. He endured his illness bravely over a long period of time but sadly in the end it was too much for his body to endure and he died peacefully with his wife and good friend at his side. He will be missed by all that had the pleasure of spending time with him and life will not be as rich without him. He was loved greatly.
