In loving memory of Pamela Adrienne Roberts who sadly passed away on 22nd April 2018

Pam/Mum/Moffee lived her life to the full and at almost 96 years of age still lived a completely independent life right up to her final week. She spent her last few days in St. Georges Hospital, Tooting where she was looked after compassionately by the staff who took care of her every need. She passed away peacefully with family by her side. She will always be remembered for her positive outlook on life and her lovely smile. She is sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Please note family flowers only but donations to Pam's preferred charity - African Village Support (AVS).
After the church service there will be a family only cremation service. However guests are invited to attend the reception to celebrate Pam's life which will be held at The Cobham Curve (Cobham Rugby Club), Fairmile Lane, Cobham KT11 2BU.

Jon Roberts donated £165 in memory of Pamela

This is a donation made up of all those who left money in the condolence box at Pam's funeral and wake. Thank you to everyone who donated.

I have known Pam for nearly three-quarters of my life, and I suppose like quite a few of us I had come to think of her as a permanent feature of any Dunn/Roberts family occasion. She rarely appeared to be anything other than cheerful and open, and could hold a conversation with anyone, of any age or background. I can only compare the feeling to that of losing the Queen - I might not have seen her that often, but she was always 'there', and now I will miss her.
My thoughts are with Isobel, John, Jill, and all the extended family, and I hope there is comfort in such a long life, lived to the full, and always with the benefit of others to the fore. Goodbye Pam (I never really got used to calling you Moffee)... X

What a privilege it was to know Pam. Always warm, considerate, clever, funny. The first to give and the last to take. Some candles burn brighter than others, and Pam was a beacon in so many ways. She will be sorely missed, but always fondly remembered.

Pam was a much- loved member of our extended family, always smiling, warm and welcoming and interested in what everyone was doing, particularly all the younger members of the family. We will all miss her very much for her humour and her kindness.

Pam was a devoted member of the United Reformed Church in Cobham and although we rejoice in a life lived in all its fullness, we will miss her so much. Pam was so loved not just for the many ways in which she lived out her faith in service to others, but for her warmth, humility and generosity of Spirit. Pams determination to resist the perils of old age meant she was an active member of the church leading the church walk, serving as communion steward, as well as helping with Fairtrade right up until a few months ago. A remarkable woman who will live on through each of us and who will always be close to our hearts.

Pam was probably one of the most influential women in my life!! I met her at the age of 15 when I was going out with Jon ( my 1st boyfriend) and she was just amazing as are all of you lovely Roberts. She brought such a fabulous family together having lost her husband very young and just radiated joy, intelligence and love. So lucky to have met her. Love to you all xxx

  • Mandy, those are really kind words. Mum obviously meant a lot to all of us and it’s heartwarming to hear that she was special to you too. Thank you so much for your kind thoughts. Hope to catch up at the reception. Take care. Jon
