In loving memory of Alan Richard Lock who sadly passed away on 4th March 2018
Alan suffered a massive stroke on 17 December 2011 and wasn’t expected to survive at all initially. As he progressed, doctors then gave him a year or two to live. Needless to say, Alan has surpassed all expectations by bravely soldiering on for more than 6 years, despite being bed bound. His sense of humour prevailed and we were lucky to have this extra time with him.
Alan went to sleep on the morning of Sunday 4th March and is sorely missed. Papa Bear, we love you.

It's been about 10 years since I left London so hadn't seen Alan for a very long time. And even though I only really met and spoke with him a few times I can still remember them times at Alan's house very clearly. He was always really kind to me. A true gentleman. R.I.P Alan xxx

Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day.....unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear.
