In loving memory of Jerry Cook who sadly passed away on 24th February 2018. A crazy man who ran marathons, cycled mountains, skied black runs and loved to pot the black ball. He will be missed greatly by his loving wife, his three children, his equally crazy family and his many friends.
The funeral will be held on Thursday 15th March 2018 at 12pm at Shepshed Word of Life church (located on Kirk Hill).
There will be a service, a burial at Shepshed cemetery and then a "Celebration of Jerry's Life" back at the church afterwards. The church car park is reserved for family members and disabled parking only - please park offsite. We ask that people wear some color as Jerry would not have wanted an all black funeral.

Jerry will be sorely missed by all at Shepshed Running Club, such a friendly positive guy who had many acheivements, and shared in others running acheivements as well. Jerry always used to ask what races I had next, but his were always crazier and longer than mine! Condalecenses to his family and friends at this tome

A hugely positive and inspirational friend who challenged me to achieve many great races; his lust for the big races was infectious - we never made the North Pole marathon, but that would have been next!
