Peacefully in hospital on February 22nd aged 104 years, Gertrude (Gertie). The beloved wife of the late Billy. The treasured mam of Brian, Trevor, Sidney, Geoffrey, Ian and the late Albert. A much loved mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and friend to many. Friends please meet on Tuesday March 13th for service in St. Cuthbert’s Church, East Rainton at 10:30am. Committal to follow in Sunderland Crematorium. All are welcome afterwards to Houghton Golf Club for refreshments. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if so desired to St. Cuthbert’s Church and Bramble Hollow Resident’s Fund.
