The day has arrived when we say our final farewells. You were an inspiration to me growing up. And I would look up to you wearing your Royal Navy uniform. I remember waving you goodbye as you set sail on another patrol.
Today I will wave goodbye to you for the final time as you embark on your final voyage.
Goodbye dad, you are one in a million and will be missed by us all.

The days have long past we were young 20 year olds exploring the wonders of Cape Kennedy and Cocoa Beach in sunny Florida, they were good times but getting back to Faslane and our lovely wiives were better times!
