In loving memory of Sarah Bossom who sadly passed away on 10th February 2018. Sarah was surrounded by her closest family and was at peace.

She danced into the World on 8th May 1973 and continued to dance through life with energy, passion and a smile which she showed right to the end.

As a professional dancer Sarah was at the top of her game for nearly twenty years. Her talent was evident from an early age when Rene and Susan Hayes took a raw talent and turned her into a little star. She worked in pantomime and on stage shows and later played Belle in Beauty and the Beast and Ariel, The Little Mermaid for Disney.

Sarah went to Laines School of Theatre and Arts where her passion grew with her enviable talent and she started working in commercial dance. She danced at The Brit Awards, for Take That and for a number of years travelled the World with dance band Sash. With Sash she loved the job but the people she worked with more and they were good friends until she passed.

When our daughter Annabel was born Sarah hung up her dancing shoes professionally but carried on dancing at aero dance. She stood out as being something special with her amazingly sharp technique and a permanent smile.

Annabel, her step brother Rory and her family were her life. She wanted them close and never laughed more than when she was with them all. Her Mum and Dad were her everything and her Sister (in law) Jane who always made her laugh out loud. Her Brother, Uncles, Aunties, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins were all friends that she absolutely adored, every one of them.

Sarah and I met around 2001 as neighbours. After the breakup of her first marriage we became good friends then fell in love. I proposed to her on Christmas day 2010 and we married on 22nd June 2014 (the happiest day of my life). Our married life was full of laughs but was cut far too short. But we loved for a lifetime and my love will continue for Sarah forever.

In December 2014 Sarah was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was a huge shock but as a family we dealt with it. Unfortunately, Sarah's cancer just would not respond to treatment and she battled it hard for over three years until she eventually lost her fight. She never complained, always smiled at the nurses (who became her friends) and had dignity throughout. She was adamant that cancer would not define her, and we will all remember her for her vivaciousness and zest for life.

Her cancer meant she met new friends and the girls of 'The Magnificent Seven' became a strong unit who supported each other and who meant the World to Sarah. They may now be six but Sarah will be close by... you will feel her love always..

Sarah was taken far too early, but her memory will never fade or die... she will live in our hearts forever. If you want to honour Sarah she would have asked you to eat well, exercise and generally look after yourself... most of all she wanted her loved ones to tell each other every day how much you mean to one another... after all without love, what have we got?

Her devoted husband

You came into my life 10 years ago when you first joined Aerodance with Kat. From the first moment I saw you dance I knew you were special. You did audition for a teaching role and I described you as having a quiet confidence, a beautiful smile with an ability to make people feel comfortable. We never did work together- our paths weren't destined to cross in that way- but you loved being in the classes smiling for the whole session.
We became very close from 2015 as you and I were both breast cancer sufferers and both members of the Magnificent 7. Despite all the pain and suffering we all went through, I think of laughter. We did a lot of that. We were all partial to the odd glass of fizz or G&T and shared special times together. I just wish we could have had more.
You have been taken far too soon. I promised that I'd dance for both of us every time I teach and I will. You remain truly magnificent and I will hold you in my heart forever.
