Just found out that John passed away. My condolences to all the family. I knew John and his sister, mum and dad when they lived in kingsway Mortlake. John and I went to Mortlake primary school together back in the 60’s. We were best friends.
I moved away with the family to Kent in 69 and lost touch with John till the early 2000’s when I found him on Friends Reunited. We met up in London whilst he was working for Freshfields for a beer. We had a great time remembering all those we went to school with. John was besotted with his family and showed me photos from his wallet. He hadn’t changed one iota. So sorry to hear of his passing it was a privilege to have known him. Best Wishes Jim Collins
