I played Tim at squash a few times in Ipswich and he also didn't some time treating my badly damaged ankle back into some sort of shape to continue playing sport. My memories of him are of a warm and gentle man, who always had time for you. RIP Tim

I am so sorry to hear of Tim’s death. I only knew him as a patient but always found so down to earth, professional and reassuring. I am sure he was a wonderful family man - he had such an easy understated way about him. My condolences to his family. James

Dr Sonnex treated me in 2013 and I couldn’t have asked for a more professional and kind man to attend me. I had no idea he had passed away. I don’t know him as a personal friend, just in his professional life. It is a great loss and I extend my deepest sympathies to his family. We have all lost a great man and talent.

Tim was a kind and gentle person. The treatment he gave me made a difference to my condition and general well being that is hard to sum up in words. I'll miss his expertise but also his character. My thoughts are with all of his family and friends.

One of my favourite ever photos, some 35 years ago waiting for Tim to pick us up in his orange MG. Have looked out for Tim at every single match since and will miss catching up outside the ground. Sorry I can’t be with you all.

Terribly sorry to hear about this. Whilst I hadn't seen him for a while he will always be remembered fondly from his days playing for Old Edmontonians FC
