Jim "Big Jim" Tideswell (21 Jul 1944 - 8 Nov 2014)
Of Hyperion, Exeter. Passed away peacefully at Exeter Hospiscare on Saturday November 8th 2014, aged 70 years. A devoted husband, father and grandfather. Funeral service will be held at the Exeter & Devon Crematorium on Thursday November 20th, at 3.30pm in St Peter's Chapel. Family flowers only please, but donations in memory of Jim are for Cancer Research UK and Exeter Hospiscare; these may be left by retiring collection at the service or sent c/o

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Jim passing. We send our condolences to the family and have good memories of his time at Stoke St. Mary.

I worked with and played rugby with Jim and I will always remember him with respect as he was 'gentleman Jim'. Good fun, hard working and someone to be looked up to. My memories will always be there.
