Peacefully at A.R.I on Monday October 23, 2017, Colin, aged 73 years. Beloved husband of Norma, devoted father of Shona, father in law of Fraser and a proud grandad of Harry, Jack and Noah. Funeral Ceremony at Aberdeen Crematorium, Hazlehead (West Chapel) on Wednesday November 1, at 1.15pm. All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only please , but donations if desired to Anchor Unit. Resting at Mark Shaw Funeral Services , 26 Abbotswell Crescent , Kincorth.
I have only just learned that my cousin Colin died in 2017. I am very sad to hear this and I'm so sorry it took so long to catch up with the news. He always seemed indestructible. Looking at the photograph which is posted, I can still see the bright lively eyes that I remember. I will think of him kindly. Best wishes to Norma and Shona and family.

I will sorely miss you Colin, mainly your ability to make me smile and captivate me with your stories, even the ones I had heard before, some of which will stay with me forever.
We have all lost a true gentleman and our world's are a much more sad and empty place without you
