Just over four weeks since God called you home sweetheart, and it miss you so very much. I miss your love, your warmth, your smile, your voice, your presence in our home, and I miss your lovely hugs. And when I said "I love you" I miss the gentle way you would say ... "Love you too".

My dearest darling Isabel,

I wrote this letter on the day of your funeral, 8 days after you left us as God took you home. Our loss in surely heaven’s gain, and heaven will be a much brighter place because you are there with the Lord, and with so many family and friends who have gone on before.

I want to tell you again just how much I love you, I loved you yesterday, love you still, always have, and always will. I really don’t know how I am going to live without you by my side. However, your presence will always fill our home, and your presence will always be in my heart.

I am so very thankful for the 49 years we were together, good days and bad days, happy days and sad days, but our love for each other saw us through it all.

I am so glad I have the Lord our God, the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour, our family, our church family, and our many friends and neighbours who I know will help me for your sake. And so, until we meet again on heavens not to far and distant shore. “Good night Darling … I’ll see you in the morning”.

All my love,

Jimmy xxxxx
