Sheila was a unique lady, full of fun and zest for life. She was a wonderful stepmother to me and I always enjoyed her company. She was also a great step grandmother to my daughters Claire and Katy. They loved staying with her and still talk about the many adventures they had together.
We will all miss her so much but I'm sure she'd want us to remember the happy times we had and to live our lives to the full as she did.
Sheila, you'll always have a special place in my heart. Rest in peace. xx

Granny Nell, the ultimate glamorous granny! I have so many happy memories shared with you. Such a warm hearted, kind and generous lady (I popped in once when I was 17 and you gave me a car??!!) Family was everything to you and you welcomed us into yours with open arms. Down to earth and straight talking I always knew I could tell you anything and you wouldn't judge, you would give sound advice and take me for an ice cream! You taught me how to shop, took us for dinner (persuading Chixy every now and then to go somewhere other than the little chef!) Staying with you was so much fun, we would paint our nails, look at photos and let off steam in the 'tantrum room' (what a brilliant idea!) You would do anything for your family and loved the hustle and bustle of over 25 grandchildren & great grandchildren. You are a legend of my wedding (for reasons I won't go into!) Thank you for cooking christmas dinner for over 20 people (you had to hire a village hall to fit us all in!) Thank you for looking after Chixy even when he got a little bit older and a little bit grumpier! Thank you for everything you have ever done for our family and for being quite simply an amazing lady! I'm so sorry that you are gone and so sad that I won't see you again, but I will always have such lovely memories of times spent with you xxxxx
