Omar was a close and dear friend , he was a fascinating fellow , well traveled and resourceful , he had served in the Fleet Air Arm aboard H.M.S Warrior , he had a love of aircraft and always had a great story to tell .
I knew him through his UFO work and PRA group based here in Derby , Omar also published a magazine , he was great company , we had many a good time together , it was an honour to know him , sleep well my friend .

Really sad to hear this passing of Omar, I had many decent dealings with Omar as regards his UFO research, a very well mannered and respected figure in UFO research, my condolences to his family at this sad time, he will be truly missed.
