Joseph "Joey" Henry Richards (15 Feb 1951 - 12 Sep 2014)

In loving memory of the late Joseph "Joey" Henry Richards who sadly but peacefully passed away on 12th September 2014.Joey will be missed by all his loving family and many friends.

Well where do I start we lost Joey to Cancer he battled hard over the last 3 years with treatment and operations and never gave up right till the end but this just was not his battle to win. As many who knew Joey he was a fun loving joking person who loved the simple things in life family ,food ,music, Football & work. He loved spending time with all the Family and as the eldest he always tried to keep the family together he also loved going out to try new foods and different places to eat we would joke and say he could have written a good food guide and even when he was unable to eat he would love smelling food outside the chip shop or walking around the supermarket looking at food.Joey loved music and would listen to everything and anything he certainly would be the person you would want on your Quiz team for the music round.Then comes work nothing would stop him going even if he was not well but really think this kept him going. Joey was a Aston Villa supporter and over the years held a season ticket and also attending Wembley Stadium to watch Aston Villa Beat Leeds in the coca cola cup.

Joey's chosen Charity is Macmillian support who are amazing and really helped & supported him throughout his illness and it is really important that they can continue helping other suffers and family so if would like to donate you can do it through this page.

Joey's Funeral will be held on the 29th September 2014 @ 12 Noon at the Woodlands Crematorium.
