In loving memory of Stan Horner who sadly passed away on 7th February 2017. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends, Hinchingbrooke Hospital was a great support at this distraught time and looked after Stan wonderfully, a big Thank you to them. We are collecting donations for Hinchingbrooke Hospital Trust Fund in memory of Stan, if anybody would like to make a donation please donate on this website. Stan was being looked after by Walnut and Juniper Ward and the staff were absolutely wonderful, our sincere thanks go out to them.

Stan was a very loving and supportive man, he made us laugh when he made jokes and did Elvis impressions and when he sung his songs for example "Aunty Mary had a canary and her eyes where blue" and Elvis's All shook up. He had a love of speed with his motorbikes and fast cars. He loved watching Formula 1 and snooker and he enjoyed being out in the sunny weather doing his gardening and being in his greenhouse.

When he was younger he joined the Royal Navy in 1966 at the age of 14 and left a few years later, he worked in the engine room and in his spare time took up boxing. He had to end his commission because he had ear problems.

If anybody would like to attend the funeral you are more than welcome, please conact me on sophie.barber@hotmail.co.uk, it will take place at Fenland Crematorium March at 12:30 23rd February 2017 wake will be at March Golf Club afterwards.

Thank you for taking the time to read this
