I've just spent the last while doing a search for Tony because I was discussing him with a friend & realised that I no longer had his number.
I moved out of London 12yrs ago but saw Tony fairly often until 4/5years ago as my partner lived near him in Brixton & I'd often visit.
I'm heartbroken to have found out about his death doing a search of his name. (Was it a further stroke?) I too have Sickle & we spoke for many long hours & into many dark nights, about everything.
He was a beautiful soul

Hi Yes unfortunately Anthony had a stroke and though he tried to hang on, the medics eventually decided to turn off the machine. Sorry that this is how you learnt of his passing. Marcia (Aunt)

He was a generous man, who loved life, music, bands - always knew what was happening. He brought out the 'fun-side' of us whenever we visited. A very deep man - always interesting to talk to.
