DAVID WETHERILL
Died peacefully on 26 January 2017.
A dear husband, father, grandfather, uncle, friend and organist, greatly loved by all.
Funeral ceremony will be held in the Rowan Chapel at the North Devon Crematorium, Barnstaple on Thursday 9th February at 2.20pm.
All welcome but no flowers please.

Deeply shocked to hear of David's death. I met DW over 50 years ago, was a 'sometime' colleague and fellow musician; his organ playing made me love organ music, especially JS Bach; he taught me theory and helped with aural tests - and was an occasional tennis coach.
We shared music and laughter. I have so many memories of this gifted friend to cherish. A

Only just found this. I have very fond memories of David. He awakened an interest in serious music in me during my time at Kingham, which has lasted me my lifetime. He, and Sally, showed great kindness to me and my mother over several years, For as long as I am, I shall be grateful.
