Today is my birthday, and even though you’re no longer here, I feel you with me more than ever. I miss your voice, your hugs, and the way you always knew how to make everything feel okay. This year has been a fight recovering from kidney cancer has tested me in ways I never imagined but I’m getting stronger, day by day, and I know you’d be so proud of me for keeping going.
I carry your love with me through every challenge and every quiet moment. Thank you for being the best mum I could ever ask for. I hope you’re watching over me, smiling, and resting peacefully.
