Words Don't describe the sadness I'm feeling, I'm devastated that my auntie Avril isn't here and that I didn't get to see you, Taken way to young, I will never forget you and you will be dearly missed love you sleep tight auntie Avril ❤️?❤️?

Rest in Peace my sister.

You touched so many lives in so many different ways. We have shed tears of sadness and tears of happiness remembering days of joy and stories of youthful bliss. You taught us so much in this time of sorrow and pain. You will be forever in my heart, thoughts and prayers. You will be missed more than words can say. Rest in Peace my sister.


God saw you getting tired, 
When a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped his arms around you,
and whispered, "come to me."
You didn't deserve what you went through,
So He gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best
And when I saw you sleeping,
So peaceful and free from pain
I could not wish you back
To suffer that again.

I have so many fond memories that I will cherish forever. You had such a positive impact on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing you. You had such a great outlook on life and you knew life was for living. Sleep tight auntie Avril. X

It was my privilege to present the celebration of Avril's life at today's service. Craig and Edward and the family should take great comfort from the amount of people who came along to not only pay their respects to Avril, but to join in , what was a celebration of a live well lived and well loved.

Such an amazing person - met and worked with you at Gartnavel Royal Hospital - no problem was ever too small or large and you always assisted with your well known smile. Your great sense of humour and given me lots of good memories. Rest in peace, Avril. Thoughts are with all your friends and family xxx
