In loving memory of the late Georgios Loizou who sadly passed away on 26th July 2014
A wonderful Son, Husband, Father, Uncle and friend.

A Father Is A Special Gift

A father is a special
One you think, will stay
You never think the time will come
When he is called away
But when the moment comes
And it’s time to say goodbye
The pain just overwhelms you
And all we do is cry

You laughed with us in good times
And laughed with us in bad
You always went without for us
And gave us all you had
You taught us many things in life
That we would have to do
But Dad you never taught us how
To cope with losing you

I, and my family, would like to say a warm thank you for all your messages and words of support in this difficult time.

Will always remember you laughing and joking, a child at heart. I have the best memories of fireworks nights at Beaconsfield Road and all the DIY games we played in the back garden and in front of your house and all this because of you. Thank you George my loving, lovely cousin

My brother George, the gentle giant I will miss you with all my heart and soul dear brother,
You always remembered to call everyone on their birthdays and always had kind words to say. I will remember and hold special memories of our childhood growing up with 7 brothers you George being the 5th brother in line were always so special and honestly gave me the most laughs and such wonderful and exciting moments to treasure. Fireworks night on the Loizou household calender especially legendary and you my darling Giorgos were at the heart of everything great and naughty that lit up Beaconsfield Road, Tottenham in more ways than one!!! I know dad , Paul anf Yiayia Paraskevou will have already rustled you up some culinary delights up in Heaven and you would be asking for seconds too!!! I remember in fondness and unbelievable engineering skills you had knocking up the crazy golf course in the garden we had many a great tournament in at Beaconsfield Road!!! The footie, cricket and rugby games were something else and the best indoor game ever invented, ofcourse Pladoomp!!! OMG my head is still aching from the pounding of that medicine pillow!!!
Georgie boy you grew up eventually and had 3 great and wonderful sons Elias, Micheal and Vasilis and a loving and caring wife in Leftie. Your great spirit will live on in them all as you dear George are simply the best and I although my heart is broken I had the great pleasure of being your one and only sister!!! You made me happy every time I saw you or got a call from you cause you always had kind and thoughtful words to express and I cherish all those moments we shared together!!! RIP my gorgeous, brave and loving brother.

My beloved Godfather and Uncle, you will be missed so much. Although you have been taken far too early, your warm presence, pure spirit and strong heart will be felt by us all for years to come.

I feel comfort in the fact that I know you are with Papou, Uncle Paul and Yiayia in heaven. We are looking up to you as we reminisce on all of our fond memories that we shared together.

RIP to you Dada George. All my love, Sophia. X
