In loving memory of Gillian Corey who sadly passed away on 24th September 2016
Gillian was diagnosed with kidney cancer in June 2015, she was given 3 to 12 months. For the last 15 months she lived her life and definitely didn't give up and wasn't waiting to die.
She was born in 1946 to William and Beatrice Hough and had 4 sisters, Pat, Angela, Janet & Jacqui.
She was married to Alan who died in 2006 and mom to Chris, Sarah and Angie.
Grandmother to Amy, Hayley, Callum, Mathew, Tia, Chloe and Billy. Great grandmother to Ava.
Gillian's request was that everyone wears bright colours to the funeral. She wanted it to be a celebration of her life and as colourful as she was.

When I meet Gill over 21 years ago she was my boss. God help her lol we classed so much, look back it quite funny. And I never in wildest dreams ever thought she be my future mother in law. At first it was strange and as time passed we had grown to love and live together in peace, and I wouldn't have it any other way. She was a women with a few words but such a warm caring loving women with open arms anytime. She will be deeply missed and not only that, she have left me a life long friend Angie which I'm forever grateful. Thank you for everything sweetheart and I will meet you again someday.
