In Loving Memory of W.Bro Raymond Alfred "Foxy" Fowler, LGR. Brother, Husband and Father.

Ray very sadly passed away on the 10th of September 2016 after a very brief battle with Cancer. He was surrounded by family and very dear friends.

He was born in 1946, to Sid and Maud Fowler and Brother to Ken and Geoff.
In 1982, he met and married the love of his life, my Mother. Sheila Mary Fowler.

For almost all of his adult life, Ray worked for British Airways. He travelled the world countless times, making new friends and leaving behind great stories wherever and whenever his feet touched the ground.

I am proud to call him Dad.

Please join me in celebrating his wonderful life on Friday 30th of September, at 2.30pm at Lincoln Crematorium.
The service will be followed by a wake, held at The Ferryboat Inn, Washingborough at 3.30pm. There are several hotels very close by the area for those of you traveling from afar.

All donations, via this obituary or at the Funeral are being sent to St Barnabas Hospice, Lincoln where Dad spent his last few days. They are a fantastic asset to the community, providing totally free 24 Hour care, both for In-Patients and for people who have chosen to remain at Home. They were so welcoming, and Dad was always very vocal about how much he appreciated their support. Please give generously, and be sure to select Gift Aid when you do!

Lewis Fowler.

Angela Spencer and the Stapleford Park golfers donated £175 in memory of Raymond

Ray, you were supposed to be with us at Stapleford Park this last weekend, we all missed you and we raised a glass to you. There was a big Ray shaped hole where you were supposed to be. From all the golfers on the Stapleford Park away weekend, we had a whip round and are proud to donate this to St Barnabas in memory of you. x

Dreams drift away like leaves on the water.
They roll down the river and slip out of sight.
Too many times we do what we ought.
Put off 'til tomorrow what we'd really rather do tonight,
And later realize:

Time passes by, people pass on.
At the drop of a tear, they're gone.
Let's do what we dare, do what we like,
And love while we're here before time passes by.

Thoughts are like pennies we keep in our pockets.
They're never worth nothing 'til we give them away.
But love's like a promise in an un-opened letter,
Where nights full of pleasure seldom see the light of day,
When life gets in the way.

Time passes by, people pass on.
At the drop of a tear, they're gone.
Let's do what we dare, do what we like,
And love while we're here before time passes by.
