Going to miss you so much Grandpa, so many good memories I had with you walking Belle down by the River. Never failed to make me laugh with your funny jokes! Loved hearing all your stories you told. Miss you so much, loveyou lots! Love Charli & Mikey

I always remember when I went with Philippa to visit him in hospital after his heart attack, must be 35 years ago, and the monitor started going haywire and then I heard him laughing cos he had noticed i couldnt keep my eyes off it and so he messed with the sensor to tease me. Wicked sense of humour! RIP.

We shared so many things via email, then a few years ago I had the chance to actually meet him. So glad I did. His sister Rose, (my mum) said many great things about him and he lived up to every one of them.
