So sorry to hear about the passing of Reg. He taught me how to box in the 70s at OBC. He was a true gentleman and been an inspiration to me throughout my own life. Thank you Reg and rest in peace. 🙏

Hello I would just like to say that this is so sad to hear this god rest Reg Soul I used to go to a young Boy’s Club all the way back in the 1980s it was the O B C Club on Web Street in Bermondsey just of Tower Bridge Road and they used to be Boxing up Stairs we moved away and I lost contact with Reg I went back there a few times over the years but no one ever knew where he was and I was just wondering if this is him I really think it is because he looks a lot like the Reg I knew it was 1985 when we moved from Bermondsey he thought me how to Box and I went for a few Fights but the other boys didn’t turn up so I only had one Fight I would like to know for sure if it’s Reg and if it would it be okay if I could go and visit his grave to show my respect god bless 👍

  • Hello Susan, I’m sorry I just seen your reply now. Thank you so much for getting back to me, would you know if it’s possible for me to visit Reg’s grave to show my respects?

  • Hello Martin, Reg was buried in Tenterden Kent opposite where his mum & dad are laid to rest. Unfortunately I do not have a number for the grave. We had a photo of him put on a plaque of when he was running in a marathon.

Reg was my boxing instructor around 1976. He was a great man who helped me win the best novis boxer of the year award. He really showed me the way. I would like to thank Reg for what he gave me. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I had tried to make contact but no one seemed to know where he was. I can be found on Facebook as Ronald Lucken

My uncle Reg, you helped so many people by running hundresds of miles for charity. So many marathons, 20+ London marathons and god knows how many others.
We had a few laughs along the way, it was a pleasure to have you as my uncle.
