In loving memory of the late George Harry Dexter who sadly passed away on 13th July 2014. A true survivor and grand old soldier. He will be greatly loved and missed by all who knew him

George was always jolly and laughing as I remember him. Telling jokes and stories about anything and everything.
He was a real old mechanic and could fix anything with an engine.
He also liked shooting and always had a couple of gun dogs. He sadly never had children and survived both his wives.
My Dad (who is actually George's cousin) gave me the middle name Dexter, to keep his name alive and I have done the same for my son Ian.
His dogs were his children and he spoiled them terribly.
I shall miss him but always remember a kind and generous man who loved laughter.
