As a fellow HPTH patient, I felt a need to write. I am so sorry for her families loss, such a young beautiful woman gone way too soon. Rare diseases need to be focused on more - such a tragic loss. Prayers and heartfelt sorrow for your loss.

Heartfelt, condolences. Holding on, for a moment in time, she tried, and tried. I know, I cried and cried. Worry and pain, confusion and grief, all in the belief, that some day, some way, she'd come through, okay. There is NO pain on the other side, of this Journey, for the next one we have wings, which lift us, gracefully through space. Love is so full and surrounds us, it lights the way, so Brightly you must squint, to see, but the colors, that are in the Light, are more, than you could ever know, the hues, and shades of every color, in the rainbow...She sees your grief, she feels your Love, you've sent her, Heaven bound. Hugs are there, whispers in the night, a kiss on your forehead, when you are calm and without light, you will not see, but WILL feel her presence, know that she will forever be within your heart, for Love resides there. Peace and solace, to you and your family.

Charissa had been a member of Hypopara UK for several years so we knew how hard she battled with her condition. You need strength, courage and perseverance and Charissa had all that plus a wonderful smile. That's real bravery. We did what we could but her real supports were her husband Steven and her mother Angela and our thoughts go out to them. We will continue our fight for greater understanding of her rare condition, hypoparathyroidism
