In loving memory of Mildred Kate Green who sadly passed away on 29th June 2016 aged 87 years. Milly was born in Lincoln on the 28th of August 1928 to Bill and Kate Flatters, she met John and married in 1950 and raised four sons. Sadly John passed away in 1982, she enjoyed her time watching her grand children grow up and later on her great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing darts and was partial for a game of bingo or two but her greatest love was for her family. She was a special lady and will be so sadly missed xxx

Grandma,

You welcomed me into your family and I will never forget that day.

I have lots of treasured memories of the time we spent together and these will always be in my heart which I will never forget.

It is not goodbye Grandma, just see you soon.

Sweet dreams and love you,

Clare X

Was the Cross Word Queen

She was a Liverpool Fan
And a sweet caring Gran

Owls were her favourite bird
Last of The Summer Wine she recited every word

Darts and Bingo that was your passion
You drank babycham like it was going out of fashion

My heart broke in two when I learned you were no longer here
The memories of a Sunday afternoon I will hold very dear

Whistling at the door as you walk in
A bet on the National and it's another win

A lady full of love for those who are near
Listening to your soft voice again is what I most want to hear

But an angel called you from up above
I wished I could tell u one last time how much you were loved x x x x

What can you say to someone who has always been one of the most essential parts of your world, Someone who took you by the hand when you were little and helped to show the way.
Goodbye Grandma, you will never be forgotten, as you have touched so many people's hearts.

All I can say is that, I love you and I miss you.

Love, John xxx

Somewhere in my heart beneath all my grief and pain,
Is a smile I still wear at the sound of your dear name.
The precious word is ‘MILLY’, she was my world you see,
But now my heart is breaking cause she’s no longer here with me.
God chose her for His angel to watch me from above,
To guide me and advise me and know that I’m still loved.
The day she had to leave me when her life on earth was through,
God had better plans for her, for this, I surely knew.
When I think of her kind heart and all those loving years,
My memories surround me and I can’t hold back the tears.
She truly was my best friend, someone I could confide in,
She always had a tender touch and a warm and gentle grin.
I want to thank you MILLY for teaching me so well,
And though the time has come that I must bid you this farewell.
I’ll remember all you’ve taught me and make you proud you’ll see.
Thank you my Dear Mother for all the love you showed me.
Although you’ve left this earth and now you’ve taken flight,
I know that you are here with me each morning, noon and night.
Goodnight Milly From your loving son Geoff xxxxxxxx
