In loving memory of Terence Wilcox who sadly passed away on 9th March 2010.
Terry was born in Aston in 1932. When he was 8 years old Terry was evacuated during World War Two and went to Redditch. At 12 years old Terry lived in Wales were he worked in the mines. When he was 17 he joined the Royal Navy and served in the Korean War in which he earned medals. He served on Hms Opossom. In 1957 he married Barbara and daughter Deborah was born in 1972.
Terry then worked for the Royal Mail as a postman in Aston. He was well known at Lucas great King st and worked their for many years before becoming a postman. His last job was at Woolies in Newtown before he retired. Terry loved helping the elderly especially at Christmas and would spent a whole week organising transport for elderly people to spent time together and enjoy a meal. Sadly missed and never forgotten.
