I also did not meet Ida very often, but knew her from the internet. She had a great sense of humour, was brave to the end not bemoaning her illness and even cheering others up with theirs. rest in Peace Ida xxxx

I always used to say to Ida when I worked at London Bridg that she cheered up the office and that I missed her when she wasn't in, she was so bright and positive. I haven't seen her since I left London Bridge but we always kept in touch and she used to tell me all the news that was going on at London Bridge. I was very sad to hear about what happened to her last October. She was lively and jovial and friendly with everybody.

I have had the pleasure to have known Ida for 35 years, she was married to my brother David. Ida and I were pregnant at the same time and both had beautiful baby girls one week apart.we both got pregnant again at the same time she had her beautiful baby girl Becky. She was there foe me when my son James died at one day old .Though Ida and David divorced and we lost touch for some year's I thought about her often and new that we would find each other again and we did thanks to George getting me my first computer and my girls getting me set up on Facebook. Iwas so very happy to have found her She always loved my girls and my girls have always loved her .It doesn't matter that she was divorced from my brother she is still the mother of my two beautiful nieces Gemma and Becky and an aunt to my girl's Amanda, Sarah and Emma.Ida you will be very much missed by all that new you.You had so many friends and was so fun of life you was taken from us all way to soon.it was a pleasure to have had you in my life .not going to say goodbye because I feel that you are still around just on vacation. So sending lots of love, hugs and kisses like I always do when I write. Jackie.mockford
