In loving memory of Kajetan (Jan) Wasilewski who sadly passed away on 5th / 6th May 2016

We can add to this over the coming days and months - much has been written on my dad's facebook page about his philosophy and approach to life and we can hope to celebrate the life he gave in a dignified way when he goes back to nature next week ...

We all have a year and a month to add any photo's, stories and share any memories that we wish ...

And talk the old fashioned way face to face or over the phone!! xx

Kazimierz Wasilewski donated £33 in memory of Kajetan

First born child of Jan & Pelagia, named Kajetan as a reminder of their first meeting one another in postwar Italy in 1944.
My oldest brother who I looked up to and revered in my childhood, you saved my life when I fell into the old mill dam as a small child.
Wathched you grow and go, to travel the world and see all that it offered the endless possibilities that life offered, good and bad.
You helped me again, much older now, when I needed comfort and understanding, you were there.
Never loud, never overstating things, your quiet strength, determination and occasional stubbornes will all sadly missed.
I loved you so much but never had the courage to tell you to your face.
Rest easy Jan, you made a big difference to those you touched, xxxx

Love and respect and peace and all your family and as many friends as are able to will mark your passing and burial with respect and follow your wishes at the Tarn Moor Memorial Ground - meeting at the Craven Heifer Inn on the Grassington Road north of Skipton on Friday 20th May at 1.30 pm xx

More heartfelt and meaningful messages mourning your passing have been posted here so far ... https://www.facebook.com/jan.wasilewski let's collate a few stories and photos and memories to add to the collective reflection if we can here xxx

We should focus on celebrating your life where we can over the next few weeks and months xxx

I know that you wanted it to continue until 2099 or beyond but you are now resting in peace and the passing seems to have been quick on the day and not painful and you are no longer in pain struggling with everyday life. Like a rock you will live on in our hearts and minds x
